Trompe L'oeil

Trompe l'oeil was invented during the Baroque era, and literally means "fool the eye". It is a technique where artists use realistic imagery to create the optical illusion that the depicted objects exist in three dimensions. 

You will use pink and blue colored pencil, and graphite on plain white paper to exactly replicate a sheet of notebook paper. 

Learning to carefully observe is the key to great drawing. This activity forces you to really see rather than assume. 

It's easier than in looks :).
